We have become a go-to source of information and comment for journalists. Tens of thousands follow us on social media, hundreds of thousands read our website, and our research is widely relied upon.
In a world where people increasingly rely on video content via social media for information, CAA has emerged as a leading voice fighting disinformation, conspiracy theories and sophisticated new forms of incitement and extremist ideology.
We are now seeking a talented and passionate Video and Content Creator to join our team. This individual will play a critical role in shaping visual narratives that educate, inform, and inspire action against antisemitism.
As Video and Content Creator, you will help us to maintain a clear and approachable tone of voice and design language across multiple social and traditional channels, whilst pursuing and executing creative projects that help us to put across complex concepts in a manner that is accessible and attractive.
The Video and Content Creator’s role is to support the Chief Communications Officer and colleagues within the communications team by:
You will work within our team to devise new means of creatively disseminating CAA’s message via social media, collaborating to create concepts for content and campaigns that cut through to our audiences, and innovating quickly to virally engage our supporters.
Conceiving, shooting and editing videos: CAA must produce high-quality audio-visual resources for dissemination on social media and elsewhere to raise awareness of antisemitism among those who rely on videos for information. These videos vary in length, design and purpose. You will be able to help conceive exciting ideas for videos and film and edit the videos to the highest standard, in line with our brand. You must know how to create punchy, informative and entertaining videos, and an ideal candidate will have experience doing so.
Collaborating with our communications team: You will work within our communications team to conceptualise and create impactful video content that aligns with our mission. Editing and assembling raw material: You will know or learn every stage of video creation, from conception and storyboarding through filming, editing and the creation of a finished product ready for broadcasting. Perfect fluency in written English is required, as is familiarity with the Adobe suite of software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, as well as Canva and Audacity. Some understanding of antisemitism is desirable, but not essential.
Discovering and implementing industry best practices: CAA has always prided itself on pioneering campaigns to raise awareness of, and combat, antisemitism. As Video Editor, you will be expected to measure performance of campaigns, looking for ways to learn and enhance our profile, and maintain an awareness of developments in technology and industry best practice, to ensure that CAA is always at the forefront of video creation.
The successful candidate will be creative and precise, even under pressure. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work as part of a large and growing team.
We want to make the application process easy for you and for us. At first, please just send us your CV and a covering letter outlining your motivation and suitability for the role. We will then invite some candidates to carry out a short exercise or case study, which we will use to select a shortlist of candidates to attend an interview in London.
Please enter your details below and instructions for submitting your CV and cover letter will be e-mailed to you.
Please note that if you have been a candidate for another position, you should only apply for this position if you were invited for an interview on the previous occasion.
Campaign Against Antisemitism is the UK’s leading organisation fighting antisemitism nationwide. Our volunteer-led charity is dedicated to exposing and countering antisemitism through education and zero-tolerance enforcement of the law.
We expect the authorities, professions and political parties to take firm action against antisemites and we work closely with them, but when they do not defend the rights of British Jews, we take action ourselves in court, in tribunals and through the media.
We are at the forefront of the battle to expose antisemitism in politics, and our campaign of litigation continues to set landmark precedents. We pride ourselves on working intelligently and fast to deploy innovative and aggressive campaigning strategies against antisemites.
Our small team of staff works with the hundreds of volunteers who have signed up to contribute their considerable talents to the fight against antisemitism.
In the long history of the fight against the world’s oldest hatred, every accomplishment of note started with a small, plucky, single-minded group using every ounce of their determination and ingenuity to achieve an objective that everyone else said was too ambitious.
We campaign with the agility of a startup, the expertise of our professional volunteers and, when needed, a dash of chutzpah.
We only recruit exceptional people who are dedicated to our cause. If that sounds like you, we want you on our team.
