Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) is the UK’s leading organisation fighting antisemitism nationwide. In order to ensure that we keep up to date with the growing volume of queries that we receive, we require Public Liaison Officers who can communicate with members of the public, ensuring that their messages are dealt with in a timely manner and ensuring that correspondence reaches the appropriate unit within CAA.
As Public Liaison Officer you will:
- Respond to queries received via e-mail and into the inboxes of the various social media accounts we operate;
- Operate telephone lines and receive calls from members of the public who make contact with CAA; and
- Moderate the comments sections of our social media accounts and remove inappropriate material and instances of abuse.
Candidates must be well spoken with a native level of fluency in written English. Candidates must be patient and courteous, capable of dealing with potentially difficult callers whilst maintaining composure and offering a professional level of support and service. Candidates must have a high level of attention to detail, capable of maintaining absolute accuracy in written responses to queries, and an awareness of when they need to ask for guidance. Successful applicants must also have a keen awareness of antisemitism, both historical and contemporary, and whilst a high level of IT proficiency is not required, candidates must be comfortable navigating cloud-based systems, web-platforms and social media platforms. We are open to applicants who only wish to work on one or some of e-mail, telephone and social media but not all.
