University Definition adopted

The University has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism in full, including all of its examples.

The Definition was adopted on 8th July 2021.

This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 12th June 2023. On 2nd August 2023 the University responded.

As part of its response, the University confirmed adoption at a meeting of its Board of Governors on 8th July 2021. Additionally, the University published its Student Agreement 2022/23 on its website on 16th August 2022.

When asked on 12th August 2020, AECC University College Students’ Union failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
