University for the Creative Arts

University Definition not adopted

The University has not adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.

The University has told Campaign Against Antisemitism: “…it was agreed that the IHRA definition does not address all forms of prejudice and discrimination. Therefore, it was felt that a holistic stance would be more inclusive.”

This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 8th June 2023. On 20th July 2023, the University responded.

When asked on 7th August 2020, University for the Creative Arts Students’ Union failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
