The University has not adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
The University has told Campaign Against Antisemitism: “Kingston University has a Religion and Belief policy which includes information on ‘Discrimination Arising from Religion of Belief’ and states, ‘Kingston University will take firm action where anyone uses language, treatment or behaviour which discriminates against any other person on the grounds of their religion, belief or non-belief’.”
This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 15th June 2023. On 29th June 2023, the University responded.
When asked on 3rd August 2020, Union of Kingston Students failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
