The University has said that it adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism on 25th June 2020, but it was not clear from the University’s response whether the examples were adopted.
This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 9th July 2020. On 22nd October 2020, the University responded.
The University published a statement on its website on an unknown date in 2020, which only cited the introductory paragraph of the Definition.
As part of its response, the University provided a summary of decisions of a meeting of its Board of Governors on 25th June 2020, which confirms that the Definition was adopted.
When asked on 3rd August 2020, London Metropolitan Students’ Union failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
