University Definition adopted

The University has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism in full, including all of its examples.

The Definition was adopted on 8th December 2021.

The University has told Campaign Against Antisemitism: “… the definition was adopted in full, including the illustrative examples…”

This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 16th February 2022. On 23rd May 2022, the University responded.

As part of its response, the University provided minutes of a meeting of its Academic Board on 8th December 2021, which show that the Definition was adopted.

When asked on 5th August 2020, Norwich University of the Arts Students’ Union confirmed it is bound by the University’s policies.
