President Donald Trump announces United States to ban Muslim Brotherhood

President Donald Trump has announced that the United States will ban the Muslim Brotherhood as a terrorist organisation.

Hamas, an antisemitic genocidal terrorist group, is an offshoot of the Society of the Muslim Brothers, popularly known as the Muslim Brotherhood.

Whilst Hamas currently is proscribed in full in the UK as a terrorist group, the Muslim Brotherhood is not. Our representative polling shows that more than four-fifths (85%) of British Jews think that the British Government should proscribe the Muslim Brotherhood.
