University Definition adopted

The University has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism in full, including all of its examples.

The University said that the Definition was adopted on 27th October 2020.

The University has told Campaign Against Antisemitism that: “The Board of Governors adopted this in full at its October 2020 meeting [27th October 2020] in response to a letter from the Secretary of State dated 9th October 2020. Adoption covers the entire University”.

This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted an information request on 15th October 2021. On 19th October 2021, the University responded. Arden University is a privately-owned university and so is not required to respond as it is not subject to the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

The University does not have a students’ union.
