The University has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism in full, including all of its examples.
The Definition was adopted on 8th September 2021.
This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 7th July 2020. On 29th July 2020, the University responded. On 2nd December 2021, the University updated its response.
Additionally, the University announced the decision through a statement published on its website on 12th November 2021.
When asked on 24th July 2020, Students’ Union Bournemouth University failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
