University Definition adopted

The University has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism in full, including all of its examples.

The Definition was adopted on 11th February 2021.

This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 7th July 2020. On 5th August 2020, the University responded. On 25th February 2022, the University updated its response.

Additionally, the University announced the decision through a statement published on its website.

When asked on 24th July 2020, the Union of Brunel Students failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
