University Definition adopted

The University has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism in full, including all of its examples.

The Definition was adopted on 8th December 2020.

The University has told Campaign Against Antisemitism that it does apply the Definition in disciplinary matters.

This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 8th July 2020. On 22nd July 2020, the University responded. On 15th January 2021, the University updated its response.

The University published a statement in its Student Welfare Handbook on an unknown date in December 2020.

When asked on 25th July 2020, Cranfield Students’ Association failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
