The University has not adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
The University has told Campaign Against Antisemitism: “…Court confirmed the University’s position regarding the adoption of the IHRA Anti-Semitism [sic] Definition; that the University would not formally adopt the IHRA definition but that it would take it into account when considering any instances where an accusation of antisemitism was made.”
This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 on 13th June 2023. On 10th July 2023, the University responded.
When asked on 30th July 2020, Edinburgh Napier Students’ Association failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
