The University has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism in full, including all of its examples.
The University has told Campaign Against Antisemitism that: “…the University had adopted the IHRA definition in early 2019…”.
This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 9th July 2020. On 5th February 2021, the University responded.
When asked on 4th August 2020, the Union at Manchester Metropolitan University failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
