The University has told Campaign Against Antisemitism that it “is run jointly between the Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Manchester…and it is subject to the respective Universities’ policies and procedures”.
The University of Manchester adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism in full, including all of its examples on 9th June 2020.
Manchester Metropolitan University adopted the Definition in full, including all of its examples on an unknown date in November 2020.
This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 9th July 2020. On 7th August 2020, the University responded.
When asked on 4th August 2020, Manchester Student Society of Architecture failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
