The University does not appear to have adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
We have searched the University’s website and the public domain but have not found any reference to adoption of the International Definition of Antisemitism.
A request under Freedom of Information Act 2000 was submitted on 8th June 2023. As at 24th August 2023, the University has not responded, in breach of its legal duty.
When asked on 5th August 2020, Oxford Brookes Students’ Union confirmed that it adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism on 24th October 2018 with a review due in three years.
No incidents have been reported to us, however we recognise that antisemitism is chronically underreported and it is possible that there are incidents that have not been reported. To report an incident, please contact us.
