The College has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism in full, including all of its examples. The College simultaneously adopted the Jerusalem Declaration on Antisemitism, (JDA), which is a wrecking document designed to undermine the International Definition of Antisemitism. Accordingly, an institution that adopts the Jerusalem Declaration cannot be said to have adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
The Definition was adopted on 6th April 2022.
This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 15th July 2020. On 11th August 2020, the College responded. On 12th April 2022, the College updated its response.
We searched the College’s website and found an Equity, Diversity & Inclusion statement last updated on 22nd September 2026, which does not reference the JDA but acknowledges rather than adopts, the International Definition of Antisemitism.
The Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 27th June 2026 to clarify the position on adoption. As of 12th October 2026, the College has failed to respond.
When asked on 6th August 2020, Royal College of Art Students’ Union failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
