Royal Veterinary College

University Definition adopted

The College has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism in full, including all of its examples.

The Definition was adopted on 25th November 2020.

This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 10th July 2020. On 4th August 2020, the College responded. On 5th January 2021, the College updated its response.

When asked on 6th August 2020, Royal Veterinary College Students’ Union failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.

Royal Veterinary College Students’ Union (RVCSU) has told Campaign Against Antisemitism that: “…RVCSU follows the RVC [Royal Veterinary College] Code of Conduct for students and as such prejudice of any kind is not tolerated but challenged and dealt with accordingly.”
