The University has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism in full, including all of its examples.
The Definition was adopted on an 24th November 2020.
The University announced the decision through a statement published on its website on an unknown date in December 2020. Additionally, the University published minutes of a meeting of its Board of Governors on 24th November 2020, which show that the Definition was adopted.
When asked on 6th August 2020, St Mary’s University Students’ Union failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
No incidents have been reported to us, however we recognise that antisemitism is chronically underreported and it is possible that there are incidents that have not been reported. To report an incident, please contact us.
