The University has not adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
The University has told Campaign Against Antisemitism that: “We recognise the existence of the IHRA definition Antisemitism, it provides an agreed point of reference.”
This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 on 14th June 2023. On 6th July 2023, the University responded.
When asked on 11th August 2020, University of Stirling Students’ Union failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
No incidents have been reported to us, however we recognise that antisemitism is chronically underreported and it is possible that there are incidents that have not been reported. To report an incident, please contact us.
