The University has not adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 13th June 2023. On 29th June 2023, the University responded.
When asked on 7th August 2020, Ulster University Students’ Union confirmed that it had not adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism but did adopt a deficient definition by the controversial academic Dr Brian Klug on 9th February 2017.
No incidents have been reported to us, however we recognise that antisemitism is chronically underreported and it is possible that there are incidents that have not been reported. To report an incident, please contact us.
