The University has not adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
The University has told Campaign Against Antisemitism: “UWTSD [sic] has not adopted the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance’s (IHRA) working definition of antisemitism. The University’s current strategies and policies comply with statutory requirements and reflect a zero-tolerance approach towards all forms of discrimination. We are committed to fostering a culture where discrimination, harassment and bullying are not tolerated and providing an inclusive, supportive and safe learning environment in which all students and staff can flourish and are able to fulfil their personal potential.”
This information was obtained after Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 22nd August 2026. On 8th September 2026, the University responded.
When asked on 11th August 2020, University of Wales Trinity Saint David Students’ Union failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.
No incidents have been reported to us, however we recognise that antisemitism is chronically underreported and it is possible that there are incidents that have not been reported. To report an incident, please contact us.
