As we learn more about the horrific attack at a Chanukah event at Bondi Beach in Australia, here in the UK we must do our part to mourn the dead and celebrate the endurance of Jewish life in the face of those who mean us harm, in the best spirit of this beautiful festival.
That is why Campaign Against Antisemitism and Chabad UK are coming together tomorrow evening, Monday 15th December, to light up London in honour of our Australian brethren and the wondrous festival of Chanukah.
Join us tomorrow evening at 18:30 in front of the Houses of Parliament in central London to light up London and bring light to the darkness.
Chanukah recalls the Jewish fight against antisemitic oppression in another era, and calls on us to redouble our efforts in that same fight today. We will not be cowed by terrorists, nor will we allow the names of the fallen to be forgotten.
