Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) is the UK’s leading organisation fighting antisemitism nationwide. In order to support the psychological needs of our growing team who are exposed on a daily basis to extreme levels of antisemitic hatred, we require Volunteer Psychologists to offer confidential support and maintain motivation across our organisation.
As Volunteer Psychologist you will:
- Offer confidential support sessions to all members of CAA across all volunteer units on a rolling basis;
- Form positive relationships with members of our organisation across all volunteer units;
- Listen to volunteers and offer conscientious, empathetic support with an aim to making a real impact where required; and
- Operate with complete confidentiality and gain the confidence and trust of members of our organisation.
Candidates for this position will be highly empathetic, personable and courteous with a high level of emotional awareness. Although a professional background in therapy or social care is not strictly required, applicants with a relevant professional background are particularly sought. Applicants must be able to fluidly navigate private messaging platforms and web-based communications software, highly organised and able to stick to a precise outreach schedule and capable of operating with the utmost discretion and confidentiality.
