Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) is the UK’s leading organisation fighting antisemitism nationwide. In order to ensure that the law, especially in relation to terrorism legislation, is enforced at protests, rallies and events around the country, we require Event Monitoring Coordinators.
As an Event Monitoring Coordinator you will:
- Conduct research as to protests, rallies and events taking place across the UK that require the presence of our Demonstration and Event Monitoring team;
- Use our cloud-based systems to file and delegate items identified; and
- Review work conducted by the Event Monitoring team and liaise with other relevant volunteer units within CAA to ensure material gathered is properly utilised.
The ideal candidate for the position will be skilled in efficiently conducting internet searches in order to identify items of interest. Along with a keen understanding of antisemitism, both historical and contemporary, candidates should have a good understanding of the contemporary political landscape whilst maintaining a measured and objective approach to assessing relevant events for monitoring. Successful applicants will be highly organised and capable of reacting quickly to operational demands and capable of communicating effectively with members of the Event Monitoring team. Applicants must be comfortable using modern web-based applications and cloud-based platforms.
