Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) is the UK’s leading organisation fighting antisemitism nationwide. In order to ensure that our volunteers are properly inducted and trained we require Trainers.
As a Trainer you will:
- Support the Head of Training in the development of the CAA training programme;
- Deliver training to CAA volunteers as required;
- Keep records of all training delivered and submit Attendance Forms and complete general training administration; and
- Participate in train-the-trainer sessions and volunteer training meetings, in order to keep knowledge and trainer skills up to date.
Volunteer trainers play a vital part sharing their skills, time and talents to facilitate learning opportunities across CAA. Volunteers for this position are comfortable presenting and/or training materials. Candidates must have an understanding of antisemitism and be willing to educate and challenge training participants. They will also need to familiarise themselves with a good working knowledge as CAA an organisation, code of conduct and culture.
Ideal applicants are qualified trainers or have experience in facilitating training or within a teaching and education setting. Ideally they will have an understanding of the history of antisemitism and the CAA. They will be passionate about supporting volunteers. They will have high quality communication and presentation skills and be confident in managing group dynamics. Confident in dealing with emotional and personal contributions from participants as well as managing the time and learning points effectively. Strong time keeping skills and reliability to book time to deliver training sessions in advance, as well as being available evenings or weekends. Successful applicants must be able to be proficient in PPT, google docs and presenting via digital platforms.
