The University appears to have adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism on an unknown date in 2020.
Campaign Against Antisemitism submitted a request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 on 15th July 2020. On 25th September 2020, the University responded that at the time the University had not adopted the Definition.
We have sought an update from the University on adoption.
When asked on 11th August 2020, Sheffield Students’ Union failed to confirm whether it has adopted the International Definition of Antisemitism.

Sheffield Students’ Union and the Sheffield Jewish Society passed a motion against antisemitism.
The incidence of antisemitism on a university campus and how the university and its students’ union address antisemitism are matters of serious concern.
