Campaign Against Antisemitism (CAA) is the UK’s leading organisation fighting antisemitism nationwide. In order to tackle a rise in antisemitic instances on social media, we require monitors for our Online Monitoring Team.
As an Online Monitor you will:
- Conduct regular monitoring of social media sites and identify relevant cases for escalation;
- Conduct deep-dive investigations into subjects of interest including individual social media accounts, online communities or online trends; and
- Assist other teams within CAA when online investigative expertise is required.
Candidates for this position must be highly familiar with navigating the internet effectively and efficiently. Although specialist IT skills or a background in IT or computing are desirable, they are not at all required. Successful applicants will be quick learners, capable of adapting to new tools and able to produce meticulously precise reports. Candidates must have a good understanding of both historical and contemporary antisemitism.
