Antisemitism in Political Parties

“Antisemitism is the organisation of politics against the Jews” — Ruth Wisse

Green Party

Our analysis of antisemitic discourse amongst Green Party office holders indicates that they seem to have little or no consciousness of the nature of post-Holocaust antisemitism, so that even parliamentary candidates repeat bizarre antisemitic myths without inhibition, and support prominent antisemites in other parties. In October 2021, in the face of significant opposition at all levels, the Green Party formally adopted a guidance document on antisemitism; however, whilst this document incorporated the International Definition of Antisemitism, it also included the Jerusalem declaration — a wrecking document intended to undermine the globally recognised International Definition — along with three further definitions.
