Teenager ordered to pay £185 for sending antisemitic tweet to Lord Sugar
A 17-year-old from Preston, Lancashire has been ordered by Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court to pay £100 in compensations, £85 in costs and complete an eight-month referral to a youth offender panel.
The antisemitic tweet called Lord Sugar an “Old Jewish c***”. Lord Sugar thanked Essex Police for “tracking him down”.
In the first six months of this year, 20% of the antisemitic incidents reported in the UK were online. It is time for the social networks to proactively seek out Jew hatred on their platforms.
